We decided to head down to see our families for the Halloween weekend. We knew that if we stayed here I'd just be depressed all weekend that Rebecca hadn't joined us yet, so we took of for some fun!
Doug and Tamara had also shown up for the weekend, so we finally got to meet sweet little Benjamin! He is so tiny and precious. Steven especially loved getting to see a new baby.
I don't think I have carved a pumpkin since high school. Adam and I loved getting to do pumpkins together for the first time! My mom joined us, and we turned out some pretty cool faces. My mom did some awesome scary eyes on hers, I was pretty boring and basic with a mom and little guy for Steven, and Adam's was totally the best. He had a half green/half orange pumpkin, so he carved Two Face! We left Rebecca's uncarved, since she's not here yet.

The Valencia mall was doing trick-or-treating for anyone who wanted to come. We took Steven, and he totally loved it! It became apparent, however, that it did not matter at all what goodies people were putting into his Elmo bucket--all he wanted was one of the balloons he kept seeing kids with. We got there towards the end, so I was praying so hard that the shoe store handing them out would still have them. They did! Steven did not let go of his balloon all night, and he even played with it a ton the next day. Woohoo!!! We also loved trick-or-treating to all of our grandparents!

Uncle Nathan and Grandpa set up the coolest haunted house in the garage. We were all a little worried that the loud noises and screaming people would scare Steven, but he LOVED it! We didn't actually take him through the haunted house, but he kept wanting to go outside (balloon in hand, of course) and watch the action. He kept laughing at all the strangely dressed people, and anytime a girl screamed he would copy her with glee!!! We were so happy we had chosen to take this last little trip before our new baby comes, and we are looking forward to all the festivities next year! Happy Halloween!!!

How fun! Your costumes look so cute!
Sorry Rebecca hasn't come yet. We were praying she would come on Kyle's birthday--the 28th-- then he would have a special connection with your family forever.
Adam must have been praying that she wouldn't come on Kyle's birthday, so it is his fault she hasn't shown up yet.
STILL prego?
Love the Cruella costume. Really great. And hey, at least you don't have a Halloween baby:)
I love your costume! That is such a great one! Looks like you had fun!
