Lately, I have been trying to include Steven more in his night-time prayers--asking him what he wants to thank Heavenly Father for, and what he wants to ask for. "Jesus" and "temple" are always on both lists. Other regulars on the thanks list are "Mommy, Daddy, Rebecca, Steven, Lightning McQueen cars, cars, toys, movies," just to name a few of the regulars. He teaches me so much, in that he is constantly rattling off things he is thankful for, but when I ask him what he wants to ask for, it's usually just "Jesus" and "temple." We sang I Love to See the Temple before our prayers tonight, and Steven said, "Mommy, I love temple. Rebecca has also been getting into the spirit of prayer; as soon as we start saying them, she begins jabbering away, saying them with us.
We are truly so blessed to have such amazing kids. I know it's not just our kids, too, but every child is truly an angelic gift from Heaven. May we always remember that.

So cute. Jason has been getting in the spirit of "Amen". After each prayer he says a LOUD Amen. And sometimes when the prayer is getting too loud, he can't wait for the end and says Amen a few times in the middle. I need to start asking him more about what he wants to pray about.
