We spent Christmas with the Halls this year, and it was such a blast! We had 6 kids under the age of 4, 4 of which were less than 4 months old! Needless to say, the week was very fun and very busy.
A couple days before Christmas we went go-kart racing. It was definitely fun, but I'm not sure how soon I'll want to jump onto a race track again with the Hall boys. I definitely drive at a different pace.
On Christmas Eve we were able to do things with both our Hall and King families. My sister Alison has made it a tradition to cook breakfast for the whole family on Christmas Eve. She made the best pancakes I have ever had! I always look forward to meeting as a family in here home. We spent Christmas Eve with the Halls, as their tradition is to invite all the nearby relatives for a party. Mom Hall always makes amazing chili, we sing and visit, and the kids reenact the manger scene. This year we had 4 baby Jesus's. It was pretty darn cute!

It was really fun for Adam and me to have a child who was old enough to enjoy opening a stocking on Christmas morning. Santa brought Steven a cute umbrella that looked like a frog face, some candy and doughnuts, a cell phone, and a Mr. Potato Head. He also brought Steven, Rebecca, and all their Hall cousins some super cute pj's.

We had fun exchanging gifts and visiting throughout the afternoon. Later in the day we headed over to the Kings' for more gift giving and a wonderful Christmas dinner. We had such a wonderful day. What a blessing it is to live so close to so much family!!!
